Today women all around the world will be celebrating their achievements but also raising their collective voices and calling for gender parity and trying to make things better for all women wherever they are.
It is also a day that gives women all around the world a chance to talk about the things that matter to them. We at WCSUK are using the day and are once again raising much needed awareness of womb cancer.
Our aim today is to ask people to #GetYourPeachOn – wear something peach, take a selfie and post it on social media using the above hashtag. It will only take a couple of minutes but we are hoping that if enough people do it then we can make an impact.
So please, take a moment to be part of something good; be proactive and help raise awareness of the most common gynaecological cancer. It affects women of all ages; Mothers, Sisters, Daughters, Aunts, Nieces, Grandmothers. Thousands of women all round the world.
Post your peachy photos on our FB event page here and also on your own social media pages. The more exposure we can get the better and the more awareness we can raise. Remember to use the hashtag #GetYourPeachOn
